Apply only in the areas where additional volume is needed, hair to reactivate the style memory. Spread your fingers palm down, go in with your fingertips at the root, push them into the scalp, and lift hair towards the sky. This will create lift at the crown and create additional volume in the mid-lengths and ends. Then style as usual.
